It is similar but not the same as normal tattooing.  What makes it uniquely different is the technique, needle size and quality of the pigment Heads Held High uses. And, because the pigment I use is totally organic it will not fade or turn blue or green in future – like a normal tattoo can?  I use a charcoal based pigment which can never change in colour. And, because it contains charcoal, water, alcohol in witch hazel the redness and inflammation is minimised.

Only in a positive way. You will simply look like a guy with a full head of hair who has opted for a fashionably shaved head.  It is amazingly authentic and most people report feeling much, much more confident as a result.

Heads Held High uses a three-point micro-needle – this is capable of replicating a dot the diameter of a real hair follicle. It really is that fine. Also, after each treatment the needle is safely discarded – never, ever re-used.

It is extremely rare. But to reassure you I offer a patch test for clients interested in seeing how their skin will react. Very little. Some of my clients have fallen asleep during treatment. At worst people describe some discomfort – the most you will feel is when I apply the treatment just above the ears and over the temple. The apex of the scalp and the back crown are the least noticeable.

For normal daily activity, yes you can. You may feel a tingle on your scalp – a bit like mild sunburn but, the new you will be ready and able to face the world with renewed confidence. There are a few dos and don’ts however. For example, Don’t submerge your head in water (showering or swimming) until five days after the treatment. And, if you are an active person you should wait ten days’ post treatment before you indulge in high octane exercise. Light exercise is fine though after seven days.
